Lynn's Story

This bean and veggie combination is even more delicious cooked outside on the grill. Leave the bacon out for a healthier/vegetarian dish.

Ingredients

1 lb
fresh green beans
1 small
onion, sliced
2-4 slice
bacon cut into quarters (low sodium or turkey)
4 medium
mushrooms sliced
season of choice
grill wok

Directions Step-By-Step

Slice onions and mushrooms and cut bacon slices into quarters. Thaw frozen beans.

Place wok over heated side of grill, add bacon (onions opt) and sear for a couple of minutes.

Move basket to unheated side of grill, add beans, mushrooms and onions to wok, season and stir.

Cook over indirect heat (with lid shut), approx. 325°-350° for 30-45 min. stirring often. Cooking time will depend on heat of grill and how al denta you like your beans.
