Clean and cut sprouts in half. Put in a micro safe dish and add 2 Tablespoons of water. Cover with wax paper and micro on high for 5 minutes. They should not be fully cooked. Mix together butter, sugar and nutmeg; add apples to sprouts and cover with butter mixture. Microwave 4 to 5 minutes until sprouts are cooked and tender. Serve warm, Great as leftovers too- if there are any. Sometimes I sprinkle bacon bits and cheese on top and microwave for 20 seconds.
