This is a good vegetable dish for buffets. A little different from the usual green bean casserole.

3 Tbsp
melted butter
2 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1 tsp
sugar
1/2 tsp
grated onion
1 c
dairy sour cream
12 oz
pkg. green beans, thawed and cooked
1/2 lb
shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c
corn flakes, crushed
1/4 c
crispy cooked bacon, chopped

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine 2 Tablespoons butter and flour; cook gently. Remove from heat; stir in seasoning and sour cream.
Fold in beans. Place in shallow 2 quart casserole.
Cover with cheese, then with crushed corn flakes mixed with 1 Tablespoon butter and bacon bits.
Bake in moderate oven 350^ for 30 minutes.
