brussels sprouts salad

A friend gave me this recipe because she loved it so much and thought I would too. She was right because we loved it. It keeps well in the frig for a couple of days.

Ingredients For brussels sprouts salad

  • 1 lb
    brussels sprouts shredded
  • 4
    green onions sliced
  • 1/4 c
    sunflower seeds toasted
  • 1 Tbsp
    grainy mustard
  • 3 Tbsp
    white wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    honey
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • salt and pepper

How To Make brussels sprouts salad

    Clean and trim Brussels Sprouts and cut in half from stem end to top and finely shred.

    Place in bowl along with green onions and sunflower seeds.

    Make dressing by whisking together mustard, vinegar, honey and olive oil. Pour over the salad and stir well. Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Make several hours before serving.
