Grandma Katherine's Sweet Potatoes

- sweet potatoes

- 1/2 stick

1Peel, cook and whip potatoes. Add all ingredients from listed ingredients above, mix and place in a 1 1/2 - 2 quart round baking dish.
2Candied topping - 1 stick butter melted, 1cup brown sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, 1 cup chopped pecans. Mix and spread over top of potatoes.
3Bake in a 350 degree oven uncovered for 30 minutes.
Walnuts can be substituted for pecans.
These potatoes (leaving off the candied topping) are delicious for an everyday side dish.
