|1/2 lb||bacon, cooked,and crumbled|
|2 16oz can(s)||cream-style corn|
|3/4 c||yellow cornmeal|
|1 tsp||garlic salt|
|3 Tbsp||vegetable oil|
|3 Tbsp||bacon drippings|
|1 4oz can(s)||green chilies,chopped finely.|
|2 c||cheddar cheese, shredded|

DirectionsPre-heat oven to 350... In a skillet cook bacon till chrisp. Crumble bacon and set a side. Reserve 3 tablespoons of drippings.Mix all ingrediente except chilies cheese and bacon.
Place 1/2 of the mix in a 8 inch sguare baking dish.
mix chilies,cheese,and bacon together and spread over corn mixture...
Cover with remanining corn mix.
Bake uncovered for 35 minutes....Serve warm...
