Tater Tot Casserole
|1 lb||ground beef or turkey, browned, seasoned & drained|
|2-3 c||of canned (drained) or frozen vegetable of choice: green beans, corn, peas or mixed vegetables (optional)|
|3 lb||frozen tater tots|
|1 can(s)||cream of chicken soup|
|1 can(s)||cream of mushroom soup|
|1 1/2 c||milk|
|8-12 oz||cheddar cheese, shredded|

This was fantastic!! I used ground turkey and both cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese piled on top. Super satisfying, it tasted just like something Grandma used to make. (Kind of like chicken dumplings, but not as heavy.)
This is a very kid-friendly dish and I will bet they will be asking for seconds!!! If there is any left at the end of the meal, though, it heats up well for leftovers the next day.
