Ellen's notes for this recipe:
Found this in the Indianapolis Star, where I work, a while back. I haven't tried it yet, so let me know if you decide to give it a try. It sounds like the ultimate comfort food!

Cook, drain, and mash potatoes.
Beat cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth. Add potatoes and all remaining ingredients, and then beat until combined. Spoon into lightly buttered two-quart casserole, cover and refrigerate.
Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Uncover; sprinkle paprika on top (if desired). Bake uncovered at 350 degrees about 40 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.

I made a recipe VERY close to this for Thanksgiving a few years back. I liked it 'cause I could make it a day in advance and bake that day. It was creamy and good!

I also made a recipe similar to this one, but mine had chopped green onions and crumbled bacon, and topped with shredded cheddar cheese. It was fantabulous!!!
