Wow, I came across this recipes in my moms old cookbook. I love a surprise dont you.. You cannot taste the ingredient because of all the garlic.. But its a great substitute for butter..

Ingredients For garlicky surprise mash

  • 2 lb
    potatoes unpeeled ,quartered
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    miracle whip light dressing
  • 1-2 clove
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground black pepper

How To Make garlicky surprise mash

  • 1
    Place potatoes in a large saucepan. Add enough water to completely covered potatoes. Bring to boil on med-high heat. Reduce heat to med. Cook 20 minute or until tender.

    Drain potatoes, return to saucepan.

    Add remaining ingredients; mash until light and fluffy.
