minced fresh thyme
bacon slices, cut crosswise into halves
Toss potatoes with oil, thyme, pepper and paprika in a large bowl. Wrap half slice of bacon tightly around each potato.
Heat large skillet over medium heat; add potatoes. Reduce heat to medium-how; cook until lightly browned and bacon has tightened around potatoes.
Place potatoes in crockpot slow cooker. Add broth. Cover; cook on high 3 hours.
