In a large saucepan, combine water, salt, and potatoes. Bring to a boil; Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until tender. Drain potatoes well and return to saucepan. Add cream cheese and butter, using a potato masher, mash potatoes mixture until cream cheese and butter are meted. Add parsley, garlic salt and pepper, stirring to combine well. Makes 4 1/2 cups.
