Cheesy Potato Casserole

I love to cook, ask my family-I have all their favorites, I will bake just about anything. This recipe is easy, so enjoy.

Ingredients

1 lb.
velvetta
2 c,
mayonnaise
2 lb.
pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
1
white onion, chopped
3 oz.
real bacon bits

Step-By-Step

1preheat oven to 350 deg., In microwave melt cheese in large bowl. Stir in mayonnaise, then add potatoes and onions.
2Spread in 9x13 baking dish and top with bacon bits. Bake for 1 hr., or til hot and bubbly
3When I make this recipe I double it and instead of bacon bits-I microwave a lb. of bacon, drain and dice into pieces then top. Bacon rules!!!!!!!
