Amazing pasta salad

This is the season for cold salads. This one was inspired by another JAP member, please look for link below to her recipe. To make this dish lighter, use turkey bacon. Remove the bacon completely and enjoy as a vegetarian dish.

Ingredients

4 c
cooked pasta
4 slice
bacon, cooked & crumbled or smoked sausage, cubed
4 oz
cheddar cheese, cubed
1/2 c
uncle gary's gourment peppers or your fav pickled peppers , chopped
1/4 c
pimentos or red bell pepper
1/4-1/2 c
ranch dressing
4
green onions, sliced
black pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook bacon. I like to put mine in a baking dish with a rack in it, bake at 400° for 25 min. Chop or crumble bacon when cooled.

Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions.
Drain and let cool.

Slice green onions and cube cheddar cheese.

Mix all ingredients together including dressing, add pepper. Refrigerate till serving.
