Ingredients

2 c
raw natural almonds
2 Tbsp
pure canola oil or sunflower oil

OPTIONAL

1 Tbsp
honey
1 Tbsp
brown sugar
4 tsp
salt

Step-By-Step

1Put almonds in food processor and pulverize for 5 minutes. A fine crumby texture with some oil will form.

2Add oil. Process for 5 more minutes until a thick but spreadable texture forms.

3It is best to keep the recipe plain if it is being used in other recipes. Add honey and/or brown sugar for a sweet spread. Add salt for a more peanut butter like spread.
