Ingredients

1/2 lb
fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 c
butter, melted
3/4 c
beef broth
1/4 c
green onions, chopped
1 tsp
salt
1/4 c
sauterne or other sweet white wine
1 Tbsp
cornstarch

Step-By-Step

1Saute mushrooms in melted butter in a large skillet until tender.
2Add the broth, onions, and salt; stir well. Bring to a boil.
3Combine the wine and cornstarch; stir well. Gradually add the wine mixture to the mushroom mixture, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until thickened and bubbly.
4Serve warm over grilled steaks or hamburgers.
