Make Your Own Jell-O Jam

This is a quick and easy recipe for making jam. Try it ! You will be making jam all the time.

Ingredients

4 c
granulated sugar
5 c
mashed fruit
6 oz
pkg. jello to compliment fruit you are using
1/2 c
water

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook sugar,water and fruit in a heavy saucepan for 15 minutes, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and all dry jello. Stir until dissolved. Pour into containers, filling 1/2 to 1-inch down from top.Makes about 5 pints.
This can be frozen-if in freezer containers. After opening store in refrigerator.

Hi Evelyn-time difference--but here I am.. there is no pectin in this recipe --only that what's in the jello, you don't need any more.....

Fayleen just cut the segments up and mash them as for any other fruit..I hope this lelps you..hugs and thanks for asking..be sure to add the orange jello....
