Soy Sauce Substitute... Super!

This isn't soy sauce... but a lower sodium substitute that is very good! I use this for cooking and as a dip or to dribble a bit on my Oriental meals. We also use it for grilling...mmm

Ingredients

2 c
water
3 Tbsp
low sodium beef bouillon
1/4 tsp
finely ground black pepper (or white pepper)
2 Tbsp
balsamic vinegar
1 1/2 Tbsp
dark molasses
1/2 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1/4 tsp
ground ginger
1 Tbsp
sesame seed oil

Step-By-Step

1Put all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring just to a boil, then turn heat down and simmer and let thicken a bit.
2Store in refrigerator in a sterilized glass jar. Or freeze in ice cube trays. When frozen, remove and place in zipper bag to store.
3Use this as you would regular soy sauce.
