chickpeas, undrained
1/4 c
onions, chopped
2 Tbsp
lemon juice
1/2 tsp
garlic, minced
1/2 tsp
dried basil
1/2 tsp
hot pepper sauce
fresh basil leaves for garnish

Directions Step-By-Step

Drain beans, reserving 1/4 Cup of the liquid. Place beans, reserved liquid, onions, lemon jice, garlic, basil and hot pepper into blender or food processor and process until smooth. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hr. Garnish with fresh basil. Serve with wheat thins or your choice of chip
