Creamed Cheddar Spinach

|2 pkg||fresh spinach|
|1/2 stick||butter, unsalted|
|1 Tbsp||chopped garlic|
|1 1/2 c||extra sharp cheddar|
|1 dash(es)||lemon pepper salt|
In a large pot, place butter, garlic, and spinach. Cook on medium to high heat. Wilt spinach until soft. You may also use frozen spinach.
Add cheese and buttermilk. Lower heat to low medium. Stir occasionally, until thickened.
Add lemon pepper salt to taste.
