My mom died in 09' and I miss her every day. This was her classic macaroni recipe that always reminds of spring picnics as a boy, always served with her cold fried chicken and southern sweet tea.

Ingredients

1 lb
elbow macaroni, cooked
4
hard boiled eggs, chopped
4 stalk(s)
celery without leaves choped
1 small
white onion chopped
1 tsp
celery seed
1 c
mayonnaise
2 Tbsp
prepared mustard

Step-By-Step

1Boil macaroni, drain
2Immediately add chopped celery and onion to warm drained macaroni and let sit for 30 minutes to let flavors blend in macaroni
3Add boiled eggs and celery seed, mix thoroughly
4Whisk mayo and mustard together, gently fold into macaroni mixture until well blended
5Cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours before serving
