Irene's vegetable and macaroni salad

This came from a dear friend (who is no longer with us) many years ago. This makes enough to share and I never had a problem with having people to share it with. All who have tried it have loved it, even kids who didn't like onions :)

Ingredients

1 lb
elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
1 large
onion, chopped
1 large
green bell pepper, chopped
4
carrots, shredded
1 can(s)
sweetened condensed milk, not evaporated
1 c
white vinegar
1 tsp
salt
1 c
sugar
1/4 tsp
pepper
1 1/2 c
mayonnaise

Step-By-Step

1Cook macaroni until barely tender. Drain and rinse with cold water. Put in large bowl and set aside.

2Add the vegetables to the macaroni and mix well.

3Combine condensed milk, vinegar, sugar, mayonnaise, salt and pepper.Mix well.
Add to the macaroni mixture and combine thoroughly.

4Chill at least 4 hours before serving.
