Tomato Basil Salad
For a healthy person.(Has 45 calories)
- 2 Tbsp
- red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp
- dijon mustard
- clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp
- 1/8 tsp
- black pepper
- 1 Tbsp
- olive oil
- 1 1/2 c
- halved pear tomatoes
- medium tomatoes,cut into 1/2-inch wedges
- large fresh basil leaves,cut into slender ribbons
1For the vinaigrette,whisk together the vinegar, mustard,garlic,salt,and pepper in a small bowl.
2Add the oil in a slow stream,whisking until the dressing is emulsified
3Place tomatoes in a large serving bowl.
4Pour the vinaigrette over the tomatoes,add the basil, and toss gently to mix well and coat evenly.
5Let set for 30 minutes before serving.
