This salad sure is pretty isn't it? Looks awfully edible too. Here in Cincinnati Servatti's and Kroger deli pretzels are big! I had Kroger pretzels and their coleslaw-type of salad together in a sandwich. I'm gonna have to try this recipe with the pretzels instead.

I would like add my version to this slaw.. Shred cabbage, add some red and green pepper to your taste. if YOU DON'T HAVE TO WATCH YOUR SODIUM INTAKE, YOU CAN ADD A FEW SLICED GREEN OLIVES STUFFED WITH PIMENTOS. Put this in a bowl. To this add some sugar, MIX IT IN REAL GOOD, or YOU CAN USE SUGAR SUBSTITUTE, keep tasting, you don't want it to sweet. NOW in the microwave or stove, pour vinegar and oil and bring to a boil.Depending on how much you are making, pour this over your cabbage mixture. need only let it set a short time, and it is ready. If you would like to take this one step further,While you are waiting, either in skillet or oven, brown a package of top Ramen, CRUNCH UP THE PACKAGE OF NOODLES) RIGHT BEFORE SERVING,SPRINKLE ON TOP OF SLAW..( DON'T ADD NOODLES TO SOON OR THEY WILL GET SOFT. NEED TO KEEP THEM CRISP,,,sorry can't give exact amounts, play it by your taste....I'm 79 =,and our way of cooking was not always to measure everything, just play it by tasting often... HOPE YOU ENJOY
