I used to work at Wendy,s way back in the day.I missed the taco salad so I started making my own at home.I still love this one.

Ingredients

1 scoop(s)
prepared chili
1 bag(s)
tortilla chips
1 bag(s)
lettuce head
2 medium
diced tomato,s
1 lb
cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c
sour cream
1 bottle
taco sauce

TACO SALAD

1 can(s)
black olives

Directions Step-By-Step

Use homemade chili or can if you can find a good one to use.Have this warmed in a pot on the stove-top. Prep your black olives by draining the can and slicing them.Also prep. cheese if not already shredded.

Prep head of lettuce by washing and tearing into strips.Wash tomato,s and dice up.Have sour cream ready and waiting.Open bag of tortilla chips.Microwave chips just a min.(or they will burn).

Now prep. is done.You can begin making this wonder of a meal.Put lettuce and tomato as a salad on how ever many plates you will be serving.Add a handful or more of chips.Put a chili ladle scoop of hot chili over top of warmed chips.

Scoop on some sour-cream on the top of chili.Shake on some hot or mild taco sauce and black olives.Next sit down and enjoy your meal.
