Open all cans and drain fruit, reserving the juice from the pineapple in one bowl and the juice from the peaches in another bowl. Other juices can be disposed of. Place the peaches, pineapple, cherries and mandarin oranges in a large bowl.
Cut the banana in uniform slices and place into the reserved pineapple juice as this will keep the bananas from turning brown. Mix the peach juice with the vanilla pudding mix.
Add the banana to the fruit in the bowl along with the juice. Fold in the pudding mix and stir until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
