Fruited Chicken Salad
|3/4 c||sun-maid tropical trio or fruit bits or golden raisins|
|1/3 c||white grape juice or apple juice|
|1/2 c||light or regular mayonnaise or miracle whip salad dressing|
|1 Tbsp||mustard, spicy brown or dijon honey mustard|
|3 c||diced, cooked chicken or turkey|
|1/3 c||thinly sliced green onions|
|1/3 c||slivered almonds, toasted|
|mixer salad greedn|
This is the best darn chicken salad I have had in a long time and thought you all might like to try it... It's fresh and crunchy and so refreshing for lunch or dinner- on these warm summer days- what am I saying it's darn right "HOT" here and many other places too! Give this a try you will love it or my name isn't "Kitchen Chatter" lol
Recipe on the back of my Sun-Maid Raisins.
Add chicken, green onions and almonds. Mix well.
Stir cooked fruit into chicken mixture. Serve over salad greens as a main dish salad or in a pita pocket or on whole wheat bread as a sandwich filling.
