banana, peeled and sliced
1/4-1 c
lemon juice
1/4-1 c
sifted confectioners' sugar

fresh pineapple chunks, drained

strawberries, fresh, hulled

peach, washed, sliced
4 Tbsp
walnut pieces

orange, peeled, sectioned

pear, washed, sliced
1 c
raspberries
1/2 c
plus 1 tablespoon grand marnier
1/2 c
heavy cream
1 tsp
sugar
1 tsp
grated orange rind

Step-By-Step

1Grate orange rind before peeling orange.

2Prepare in 4 large "on the rocks" glasses with straight sides.

3Divide and layer the banana slices in the bottom of each glass.

4Sprinkle generously with lemon juice, then sprinkle lightly with confectioner's sugar.

5Arrange the remaining fruit and nuts in layers on bananas, sprinkling each layer with lemon juice and confectioner's sugar.

6Pour Grand Marnier, 2 tablespoons per glass, over the fruit.

7Cover and chill overnight to blend flavors.

8When ready to serve, whip the cream to stiff peaks.

9Add the sugar and 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier and beat to mix thoroughly.

10Fold in the orange rind.

11Mound on chilled fruit.
