I tried folding the cool whip in, but all I got was sticky hands , I barely could pick up the cottage cheese . After, I relaxed, and chilled, I tasted my paws, no bad, but :( it didn't taste or look like cotton candy. Where did I go wrong?

I didn't mean for you to fold in with your hands. I should have said with a rubber spatula. You know you don't never beat cool whip in because it will turn soupy, and the cottage cheese should stay in small curd. The color was of cotton candy. It was not going to taste like cotton candy, because you don't put that candy in it. The blueberry gelatin was suppose to turn it blue like cotton candy and it does has a hint of flavor, that makes you think of that candy. I'm very sorry you had trouble with it. It is the same recipe that you can make with orange gelatin you just, change the flavor.
