In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the vinaigrette; set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine apple sticks, carrot sticks, and onion. Toss with the vinaigrette. Garnish with the dried cranberries and almonds. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Toss again just before serving.
*** toss all into a green salad, add cooked diced chicken and you have a wonderful meal!
