Ingredients For liquid soap from leftover soap scraps

  • 1 c
    soap scraps, slivered or grated
  • 1-1/2 qt
    distilled water
  • 1 Tbsp
    glycerin
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 5-8
    drops essential oil (optional)

How To Make liquid soap from leftover soap scraps

    sliver saved soap chips, water and glycerin and put in a pan. Heat over low flame, stiring every so often until soap is all melted. the liquid will be gel like. allow to cool 3-8 hours.

    add honey and essential oil and beat with a hand mixer until it becomes smooth and creamy.

    Pour into empty soap containers or a refil soap bottle. Makes 5-6 cups
