turkey meatballs w/ picante glaze

These are wonderfully tasty little meatbal appetizers. You can use ground beef. I used turkey to keep the fat level down. But, they taste just as good as the beef ones!

Ingredients For turkey meatballs w/ picante glaze

  • 1 lb
    ground turkey breast
  • 1/4 c
    plain bread crumbs
  • 1 lg
    egg, beaten
  • 3 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1
    16 oz jar picante sauce
  • 1/3 c
    grape jelly, i used low-sugar

How To Make turkey meatballs w/ picante glaze

    Heat oven to 375. Line a rimmed baking sheet w/ foil. Spray foil w/ cooking spray.

    In lg bowl, mix ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, garlic and 1/4 cup picante sauce. Mix well. Shape mix into 40, 1"-meatballs. Place meatballs on baking sheet. Bake 15 mins, turning 1/2 way through cook time.

    In lg skillet over med-high heat, heat remaining picante sauce and jelly to boiling. Reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring, for 15 mins. Add meatballs to skillet and cook until meatballs are hot. Serve w/ toothpicks.
