My Favorite Turkey Meatloaf

Ingredients

1 large
onion, chopped
1 1/4 lb
ground turkey, 93% lean
1/3 c
bread crumbs, whole wheat
1/2 c
skim milk
1 large
egg white, lightly beaten
3 Tbsp
reduced sugar tomato ketchup
2 Tbsp
parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
dried thyme, crumbled
1/2 tsp
black pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees; spray an 8 x 5 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

In a small non-stick skillet, spray with nonstick cooking spray. Saute the onions until tender, 4-5 minutes.

In a medium bowl, combine the onion, turkey, bread crumbs, milk, egg white, ketchup, cheese, and spices; blend well.

Shape into a loaf and transfer to the pan. Bake until browned and cooked through, 50-60 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
