Ingredients

1 lb
ground turkey
1 pkg
lawry's taco seasoning
1 can(s)
6 oz. tomato paste
1/2 c
water
1/2 c
chopped green bell pepper
1 can(s)
7 oz. corn, drained

pita breads
curly lettuce leaves
grated cheddar cheese

Step-By-Step

1In large skillet, brown turkey; drain fat.
2Add remaining ingredients except pita bread.
3Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 15 min.
4Cut off top 1/4 of pita breads. Open pita and line each with lettuce leaves. Spoon filling into each pita and sprinkle cheese on top.
