There's no better way to cook BBQ ribs than low and slow. Put these incredible ribs in the slow cooker in the morning and come home from work to a wonderful meal! A great alternative when the weather is just too hot to grill out or have the oven on. Tuck this recipe away and give it a try!

Ingredients

3-4 lb
pork spareribs or country-style pork ribs
1 medium
onion, sliced
1 bottle
16 oz. any bottled bbq sauce or 2 cups homemade
salt and pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs in broiler pan and broil for 30 minutes to brown and remove excess fat. (Watch carefully)
2
Place sliced onions in slow cooker. Slice ribs into serving pieces and add to onions. Pour in BBQ sauce.
3
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Hi Dorothy,
I've never used beef ribs, so I can't say for sure how they would turn out. I have found that Kraft Honey BBQ sauce works very well for this recipe though. Enjoy! Peg
