Slow Cooker Crock Pot
pork spareribs or country-style pork ribs (i use boneless country-style pork ribs)
onion, sliced (optional)
16 oz. any bottled bbq sauce or 2 cups homemade. (recommended: kraft slow simmered sweet honey.)
salt and pepper, garlic powder
Sprinkle ribs with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Place ribs in large pan and fry just long enough to become golden brown and remove excess fat. Not necessary to cook all the way through.
Place sliced onions, if using, in slow cooker. Slice ribs into serving pieces and add to onions. Pour in BBQ sauce to completely cover.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Always tender, juicy and wonderful.
