Spaghetti and Parmesan Meatballs

olive oil, extra virgin
1Prepare all ingredients
2Slice Tomatoes in half
3Crush and mince garlic
4In a large pot, on medium-high heat add oil and garlic, allow garlic to cook in oil about 6 minutes.
5add tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.cook tomatoes until they begin to break down.
6mix Italian pork and ground beef together, add salt and pepper
7add 1/2 cup parmesan cheese to meatball mixture and add bread crumbs, combine and blend thoroughly
8portion and form meatballs and set aside
9Add water, sugar, and tomato paste or puree to sauce and stir
10add 1/4 cup Cabernet Sauvignon to sauce mix
11add 1/4 cup parmesan cheese to sauce and stir
12add fresh basil leaves and allow to continue to cook about 1 hour on low-medium heat stirring ocassionally
13In a large frying pan add 1/4 inch of olive oil and place meatballs in pan
14cook meatballs evenly on all sides. (use a lid or cover when cooking to insure meatballs are cooked thoroughly
15In a separate pan boil water and add spaghetti noodles cook about 7-10 minutes.
16place meatballs in a baking pan, sprinkle with fresh parmesan and cook on low heat about 7-10 minutes
17add fresh basil to sauce prior to serving
18strain noodles and in strainer pour small amount of olive oil over noodles and toss in strainer until noodles are covered
19Plate and enjoy
