SOUTHERN CORNBREAD SALAD

|1 medium||pone cornbread, see farmers cornbread recipe|
|1 lb||bacon, cooked and crumbled|
|1 c||white onion, chopped|
|1 c||sweet pickles, chopped|
|2 c||tomatoes, seeded and chopped|
|1 c||shreeded cheddar cheese|
|2 c||miracle whip salad dressing|
|1/2 c||sweet pickle juice|
|2 Tbsp||bacon grease|
In a small mixing bowl combine miracle whip, sweet pickle jucie and bacon grease. Mix will and set aside.
Crumble and spread half the cornbread in the bottom of a 9x9 inch pan. Evenly sprinkle half the onion, tomatoes, pickles, bacon and cheese on top of cornbread. Pour half the miracle whip mixture on top. Crumble the rest of the cornbread on top making another layer. Finish with the rest of the onion, tomatoes, pickles, bacon and cheese. Spread remaining miracle whip mixture on top. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
