olive oil, light
shredded mozzarella cheese
1-2 small onions sliced
baby portebello mushrooms,sliced.
8 slices deli han,thin

You will need 2 pie irons. Brush some olive oil on two slices of bread.put one slice of bread.olied side down into bottom of pie iron.
Sprinkle a little cheese a slice of onoin,a slice of mushroom,1 or 2 slices of ham,a little more cheese,a slice mushroom. Top with other slice of bread,Oiled side up.Close pie iron. Toste over medium heat 3-4 minutes each side. Should be golden brown when you open pie iron.Be careful. It will be hot. Open pie iron,carfully and enjoy.

Bob: didn't know these were called Pie Irons. I inherited one from my Mom. When I was little, she used to make me grilled cheese sammies on the gas stove top for me. I have not used mine for ages. I will have to try this recipe, sounds great! I only have one, but we can take turns at my house... sounds like it is worth waiting for one of these!
