Oh my goodness, Dan sure has a big appetite.
I made burgers today too.
Wish I'd had a couple of bowls of this to go with our burgers.
We had chips and whipped jello to go with them.
I made Dark Cherry Jello and just before it set, still real loose, I whipped it with the ele mixer until flothy and doubled in size then folded in whipped cream and mini-marshmallows.
Your dish here would have gone good with our meal.

Cindy, Your dinner sound very good also. I wish I had some of that Jello dessert. We didn't have a dessert. but yours sounds light and refreshing. I did have all the ingredients too, maybe today, since it is simple and easy.Whipped Jello with whipped topping and marshmallow, Hmmm, great easy dessert idea. Thanks.

I made it for my Children when they were growing up...it was one of there most favorite desserts to have.
I let them take turns picking out the flavor of Jello, so it was always diferent.
When they got old enough they would have fun helping to whip it up.
Don't let your jello get too set...be sure it is still stirrable but "very thick" when you stir it.
If you let it get too set it will not foam/froth when you are mixing it.
You can also then mix the whipping cream/cool whip in with the mixer or just fold it in if you want it to look more of a swiriled effect.
Be sure if you put in mini-marshmallows you just fold them in...do not use mixer on that point.

p.s when you are mixing it to froth up...it should be in a lg mixing bowl because it will double in size (if you don't let it set up completely).......then put in refrig to chill until serving.
It looks great in a glass bowl to see all of it.....also the kids liked it served in parfait glassed with a dolop of cool whip on top with a cookie stuck it in.
