There are a million ways to make meatloaf. Our family settled on this recipe many moons ago and it's always perfect. I'm not sure where the recipe came from but I remember mom making it when I was ten. It makes great sandwiches the next day...if there's any left:) Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb
ground chuck
1/2 lb
ground pork
1/2 c
quaker oats
2
celery stalks
1/2 tsp
black pepper
2
eggs
1/2
onion
1/8 c
water
1/2 c
catsup or bbq sauce
1 3/4 tsp
salt

Step-By-Step

1Mix eggs, onion, water, celery, salt and pepper in blender. Blend until celery and onion are chopped fine.
2Place ground pork and chuck into a large bowl. Mix together lightly. Too much mixing will toughen the meatloaf.
3Pour oats and blender mix into bowl with ground pork and beef.
4Mix throughly and pack firmly in loaf pan.
5Brush top with catsup or BBQ sauce. Our family likes the catsup.
6Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
7When done, remove from oven and let stand five minutes before serving.
