Pam's Salmon and Macaroni Salad

High school recipe for Foods III, senior class. When Salmon was about the same price as Tuna. I love to play with this salad, adding other things and trying new herbs. But this is the "Original" version.

Ingredients

2-3 c
cooked macaroni
1 c
cucumber, chopped
1- 15oz can(s)
can salmon, flaked (remove bones and skin if desired)
1 Tbsp
grated onion
1 Tbsp
minced parsley
1 Tbsp
chopped fresh dill
3/4 c
mayonnaise
1/4 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
pepper
2-4 Tbsp
lemon juice
1/2 to 3/4 c
chopped celery

Step-By-Step

1Cook Macaroni as directed in salted water. Drain macaroni and cool under very cold running water. Shake as much water off as possible before making salad.
2While cooking pasta, chop and prepare all other ingredients.
3Combine all ingredients and toss lightly to blend.
4Serve on lettuce cups and garnish with chopped parsley and /or paprika.
