Easy texicana alfredo

An unusual alfredo, w/ hints of texas and mexicana flavors. You can make it spicier by using spicy picante sauce or make it milder, according to your tastes.

Ingredients

1 lb
fettuccine
6 Tbsp
butter
2/3 c
picante sauce
2/3 c
grated parmesan cheese
1 c
light sour cream
1/4 tsp
salt and pepper
parsley for garnish

Step-By-Step

1Cook pasta as direcetd, drain. Put into a lg bowl. In saucepan, combine butter, picante sauce and parmesan cheese. Cook over low, stirring, until butter is melted.

2Remove pan from heat. Stir in sour cream. Pour sauce over pasta. Toss to coat. garnish w/ parsley.
