Vegan Tofu Dinner Loaf

I really like the sauce topping for this loaf.

Ingredients

2 pkg
tofu, firm - non gmo (mashed)
4 Tbsp
mckays chicken style seasoning & broth
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
onion powder
1/8 tsp
cayenne pepper
1 c
walnuts (chopped)
5 c
kashi flakes ... organic crispy rice & wheat flakes w/ trace amounts of strawberries and raspberries
1/2 c
oil

SAUCE FOR TOP

1/2 c
brown sugar
1/2 c
water
1 c
ketchup

Step-By-Step

1Mash tofu with a potato masher.
2Combine remaining ingredients with the tofu, mix well and put into lightly greased oblong 9 x 13 glass baking dish.
3For Sauce:
In medium bowl combine water and brown sugar. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Add ketchup, and mix until smooth. Pour over top of loaf.
4Bake at 350 for 45 min. or until done.
Watch closely so the bottom does not get over done.

You can use any flakes you like this is a very forgiving recipe. If you use the flakes with strawberries and raspberries remove them before using the flakes for the loaf.
5Let set for 10 minutes before serving.
