Dinner time cabbage and noodles

- 1 stick
- 1 medium
- head green cabbage
- 1/2 lb
- ground beef, lean
- 1/2 lb
- whole hog sausage(if not available bob evans bulk is just fine.
- 1/2 tsp
- salt and pepper each
- 1/4 tsp
- garlic salt
- 3/4 pkg
- wide egg noodles, cooked
1Melt a tsp of butter in a Dutch oven or any large pan with a lid.
2Chop the onion and cabbage.
3Brown lightly the ground beef and the sausage in the skillet with butter;remove from pan,set aside.
4Combine the cabbage and onion and place into the pan.
5Add salt, pepper, and garlic to cabbage and onion.
6Cut up the remaining stick of butter and add to cabbage and onion; place lid on the pan and cook for 15 min.
7Add the sausage and ground beef to the pan, stirring all ingredients together; continue cooking 15 min. On low heat, and there you have a side dish of traditional cabbage and noodles turned into a main course! Now enjoy. Simple and easy and goes well with a glass of rose wine!
8Add noodles,mix through.
