This is very good,and meatless,but lots of nutrition.Very tasty.CROCKPOT.

Ingredients

2 medium
sweet potatoes[yams]about 1 pound,peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
2 c
frozen cut green beans
1 can(s)
[15 ounce]black beans,rinsed and drained
1 can(s)
vegetable broth [14 1/2 ounce size]
1 small
onion sliced
2 tsp
caribbean jerk seasoning
1/2 tsp
dried thyme
1/4 tsp
ground cinnamon
salt & pepper to taste
1/3 c
slivered almonds toasted
hot pepper sauce [optional]

Step-By-Step

1Combine sweet potatoes,beans,broth,onions,jerk seasoning,,thyme salt and cinnamon .

2Cover and cook on LOW HEAT about 5 hours,until veggies are tender.

3Adjust seasonings;SPRINKLE WITH ALMONDS[toasted]
TOAST ALMONDS:spread in a single layer in a heavy-bottomed skillet,cook over medium heat 1-2 minutes,stirring FREQUENTLY ,until the nuts are lightly browned.REMOVE FROM SKILLET IMMEDIATELY.COOL before using.

4Serve with hot sauce if desired
