Kale Quinoa

This is a healthy vegetarian main dish or a tasty side. It is simple to prepare, because you just toss all the ingredients in a rice cooker and let it do all the work. :-)
This recipe's nutty nutty flavor is addictive: you start with one serving and suddenly the whole pot is gone.

Ingredients

1 c
quinoa
1 can(s)
kidney beans, drained
1 c
fresh kale, chopped
2 c
water
2 tsp
seasoned salt
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 Tbsp
sesame seeds (can be black for color contrast)
3 Tbsp
parmigiano-reggiano, grated (optional)
salt and/or pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Place all ingredients except cheese into the rice cooker.
2Turn on rice cooker, and let it do its magic. (I used a microwaveable rice cooker.)
3If you like, you can top with grated cheese. Enjoy!
