Stove Top

Ingredients

1 lb
top sirloin steak cut into 4 pieces
2 slice
maple smoked bacon, cooked
4 Tbsp
bacon drippings
4 Tbsp
flour
1 can(s)
15oz diced tomatoes, undrained
1 c
water
1/4 c
dry red wine
salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp
balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp
sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Heat a skillet with bacon drippings on medium heat. While you're waiting salt and pepper steak pieces on both sides.

Brown meat on all sides. Remove from skillet.

Add flour to skillet and cook until golden brown.

Add tomatoes with juice, water, and wine. Stir to combine. Add crumbled bacon. Return steaks to pan and cook on medium low heat 35 to 40 minutes. Stir frequently and add more water if needed.
