Crock Pot Beef Stew

Denise Nalepa-Hucke

Beef Stew was always a great dinner dish. This recipe is my Granny's recipe. She made it in a pressure cooker and used beef bouillon. I have reduced the salt by using the low sodium beef broth. I sometimes also add some red wine to give it a richer taste. I hope you find this a recipe your family will love as much as mine did. I serve this with mashed potato's.

onion, big dice
red potatoes, peeled and cubed

Brown the beef stew meat in fry pan. drain fat.

Cook for 4 or 8 hrs. Meat will be tender. Add the corn starch to about a 1/4 cup of cold water and mix till smooth. When beef stew is cooked stir in corn starch mixture and mix till thickened.
