LIGHTENING FAST HEALTHY SPAGHETTI

Sometimes you want food fast but, not "fast food"! Well, this was the case one Friday evening after a long work week; starved for something good, filling and quick. I went into my kitchen, started looking around and got busy. Not only did I create one of the best tasting spaghetti dinners I've eaten in a long time but, I made it all from start to finish in under an hour.

Ingredients

1 box
ronzoni healthy harvest whole wheat blend pasta(thin spaghetti) 13.25oz

MEAT SAUCE//

1 lb
ground turkey (ground chicken if desired)
1 medium
green bell pepper
1/2 medium
yellow onion
4 clove
garlic
2 Tbsp
italian seasoning
2 tsp
black pepper
1 tsp
garlic salt
1 tsp
lemon pepper seasoning
1-2
knorr chipotle seasoning (mini cubes)
1- 26.5oz can(s)
pasta sauce or tomato sauce

Directions Step-By-Step

Meat Sauce: In a large skillet crumble ground turkey and start cooking over medium - high heat, add in chopped up garlic, onions, green bell peppers. Using a stir fry technique mix all ingredients together until meat is thoroughly cooked. (drain meat if you want, but there should be little or no fat oils leftover.)
Add in all seasonings to meat mixture; stir well to evenly distribute as you continue stir frying over heat. Pour tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce into meat mixture, stir well, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.(Stir often to prevent sticking) Remove skillet from heat, allow to stand for 1-2 minutes, spoon over cooked spaghetti, add a green salad on the side, and Voila!

Prepare Spaghetti according to package instructions.
You can sustitute any type of spagetti or pasta depending on your preference.
