Ingredients

1 lb
lean ground beef
1 lb
italian sausage, no casings
1 large
onion
2
cloves of garlic minced
1 tsp
salt
1 Tbsp
dried parsley flakes
1 Tbsp
dried oregano
1 Tbsp
dried basil

(14 1/2 ounce) diced tomatoes, undrained

(6 ounce) cans tomato paste
24 oz
cottage cheese or ricotta cheese

eggs beaten
1/2 tsp
pepper
2 Tbsp
parsley
1/2
cup grated parmesan cheese
1 lb
mozzarella cheese
12-15
lasagna noodles

Step-By-Step

1Brown ground beef, Italian sausage, onion and garlic
2Add salt and next 5 ingredients
3simmer 1 hour.
4Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions;
drain and set aside.
5Spray a 13x9" baking pan with cooking spray.
6Combine cottage cheese or ricotta cheese, eggs, pepper, 2 tablespoons of parsley, Parmesan cheese and 1/2 of mozzarella cheese; In a lasagna pan layer noodles, meat sauce and cheese mixer; repeat.
7Top off with layer of noodles; and remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake @ 375 for 40 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand for 15/20 min. before cutting.
