Artichoke Mushroom French Bread Pizza

loaf of french or italian bread (sliced lengthwise)
14 oz
can artichoke hearts, drained & rinsed
2-3 oz
fresh baby bella sliced mushrooms
1-2 Tbsp
olive oil
1-2 tsp
mrs dash italian medley (or any italian seasoning)
1/2 c
freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp
fresh ground flaxseed (optional)
1 c
shredded monterey jack cheese


1Place bread on a foil lined lightly greased pan. Lightly spread either butter or olive oil on the bread and sprinkle with either garlic powder or McCormick's Garlic Bread Sprinkles. Place under broiler for 2 minutes or until lightly browned.

2Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place artichoke pieces fan-side up on the toasted bread. Spread mushrooms on top of artichoke pieces. Drizzle with the olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Cover entirely with the Parmesan. If desired, sprinkle on ground flax.

3Bake for 13-15 minutes, remove from oven and cover with Monterey Jack cheese. Place under broiler for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted. Remove from oven, cut into 4 pieces and enjoy!
